Comments about Autolite Double Platinum Plug:
Should have replaced these about 15.000 miles ago. New plugs increased the millage about 2 mph. Because I needed to remove the upper air manifold along with other assorted parts to get to them, I wanted to take no chances and replaced the wires as well. Great investment.

Comments about Autolite Double Platinum Plug:
I had a couple misfiring cylinders on my 2001 Mercury Cougar. Bought these plugs along with Autolite wireset and they work great. The plugs were easy to install, even the back plugs which I was able to easily reach with a 12" extension. I replaced the plugs myself while the car was parked in the parking lot and took me about 30 minutes for just the spark plugs (first time ever replacing them). Spend a little extra and get these quality plugs! Most often it will benefit you in the long run.

Comments about Autolite Double Platinum Plug:
for 99 expedition ford recommends double platinum motorcraft or autolites. Ford uses both. They can be difficult to install because you have to use swivel sockets and extensions to get to the ones located on the passengers side towards the firewall. There heat range is also in factory specs. Also note that upon taking the old ones out inspect to see if there is oil on the bases of the old plugs. If there is i would recommend replacing your valve cover grommets because after about a months of driving oil will seep into the base of the spark plug and foul them out. They grommets are located on the under side of the valve cover.
