Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Big improvement from original shocks on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 with 130,000 miles. I tow trailer with lawn eguipment and also loads of mulch, dirt, gravel, and atv's. These shocks make a difference without having to change or add to your suspension. Took the bounce out of the rear of my truck and made a very smooth ride. These shocks really show how solid my truck should have felt all along. I drive up and down a gravel hill and over potholes and bumps all the time and really noticed a big difference right away. I couldn't believe how worn out my original shocks were until I changed them.

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
I ran these shocks on a 06 Dodge Ram 4x4, replacing OEM shocks. Initially very good performance. They make a difference when under load. However, like a review I read on here. One of my shocks, got squeaky. The rubber bushing on the top of the shock got pushed down and out the way, causing the spring to make contact with the housing. I only carried a ton of wood pellets. I never off-roaded the truck. The shocks were on the truck for about 4 months. I exchanged the shocks for Sensa-trac shocks, they were worse and leaked in under a year. I settled on KYB Monomax and so far so good.

The springs are kinda squeeky in back. I hope this wears off over time...very annoying. High quality product, much beefier than stock.

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
After hauling firewood for 3 weeks the spring coil was rubbing on the shocks. The rubber protector was pushed half way down one shock. I replaced them under warrantee. I have not hauled firewoord yet but have hauled a truck camper with a cargo trailor in tow. The results after 120 miles round trip was that the spring coil is chaffing the rubber protector on one side and the rubber protector is missing on the other side. I am very disappointed in the product from Monroe. I guess the shocks are good for someone that doesn't get their hands dirty using their truck for their job.
