Q:
How do you remove the old water pump from a 1996 Ford Contour 2.0L. It is located between the timing pulleys and the bottom crank shaft pulley. You can take the top of the waterpump case off but to remove the bottom you must remove the crankshaft pulley. It is difficult to remove the crankshaft pulley. It spins as you try to loosen the bolt.
