Comments about Factory Air Compressor with Clutch - New:

In stock at only one local Advanced store.
Bought new one and it was in new condition.
No issues on installation except for determining the correct type of oil and amountto use. You have to go to manufacture web site and hunt to find information in a PDF catalog. The store had no clue of specifications nor did they seem to want to find it out for me. The instructions/manual is a little lame. Not much there. Once installed make sure to turn the compressor fifteen times to move oil as a precausion. If you do not you may blow the new compressor. Also, Advanced did not have an acculimator/drier for a 05 Taurus. Had to go to another supplier.

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
