The Reese Vehicle Towing Wiring Harness Connectors, 7-Way Round to 4-Way Flat (Part No. 74184) is available allowing the basic hookup of the three lighting functions (running, turn, and brake lights) plus one pin is provided for a ground wire. Most standard light duty trailers will use a 4-pole flat connector. If the connector is under the vehicle, you will want to use a mounting bracket to attach it to the vehicle. This will help prevent damage that may occur if the connector is left dangling. The wire colors and its functions are as follows: Green - Right Turn, Yellow - Left Turn, White - Ground, Brown - Tail/Marker. Attachment to the vehicle side is as follows: Green - Right turn of vehicle's wiring harness, Yellow - Left turn of vehicle's wiring harness, White - Vehicle ground point - metal, uncoated, rustproof and Brown - Taillight of vehicle's wiring harness.
