This product was used to change wheel configeration on a vehicle. I was looking for a heavy duty nut for a heavy haul 1 ton vehical. This product fix perfectly for my entended use. Not all parts can be used in this manner. I consider safety first, and looks secondary. The bigger flange does distract from the wheels because one is not accustiomed to seening this style of lug nut on this wheel. After I have seen it for several weeks now I don't notice. But, again safety is first and looks secondary. The torque required to set the studs made the product an asset as the wheel were retorqued after 500 miles and they were all rock solid.
