I bought this battery for a 1997 Camry 6 or 7 years ago and never had a problem with it. So now that its time to replace it, I stayed with the same brand. Just like a previous reviewer, I had trouble with the cable clamp being loose on the teminal. Turned out that the clamp had been deformed from overtightening. I probably made it worse as I struggled with the corroded clamp bolt. Not the best design from Toyota. Anyway, once I reformed the clamp it tightened properly.

The battery only lasted 22 months under normal driving conditions. Wouldn't be so bad if I could take advantage of the warranty but I bought the car with it. Really threw me off because at first I didn't think my car trouble was with the battery because it was so new.
Bottom line: Worked fine for 22 months. Didn't last as long as it should have but the bonus is that if you keep your receipt you can get it replaced for free! Just be prepared to be stranded at some point.

Great battery. Plenty of cranking power for my Honda pilot. Loved the price even more. Super cheap with coupons. Replaced a worn out, but still good , 5 year old battery. Amazing price. Works great.

AAP salesman installed the battery immediately. Cleaned off the connectors and checked for rust. Great service! There was also a great coupon available the day I made by purchase. A very good deal all the way 'round.

The battery was a replacement battery for a 24 year old vehicle. Unfortunately, the days of an inexpensive replacement battery are gone, but this is most likely due to government regulations. Otherwise, with the online discount, this was the least expensive remedy for a dead battery. Car cranks like new. Plenty of power.

Q:
I am attempting to configure my Venza with an external power inverter to use as backup emergency power. This arrangement has been in the press lately as a way to provide some household backup power without a generator.
I have all the pieces but need to figure out a way to hook up the inverter cables (ring connectors) to the battery posts. Alligator clips will not be adequate. The inverter distributer says I should be able to find post adapters that would add on to my battery cable lug connections. These either add another lug or add screw on connections.
