These bulbs are pretty expensive. I have a 2005 f-150 and I have replaced those lights 3 times in the past 3 years. I have no clue why they are blowing out. Not just shorting out but exploding and leaving glass in the housing.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
