Not the perfect replacement

It's so hard to find wiper refills these days. As most things are using less waste, it seems like wipers are one of the areas that are using more. Why buy a new blade every time when refills used to work perfectly well? In my opinion, it's because of the high markup on blades. But, like I said, good refills are nearly impossible to find now, so I finally gave in and bought a pair of blades to replace my perfectly fine OM blades. I wanted a blade that didn't have a lot of waste and looked good, so I picked these. It's only been a few uses, but they haven't streaked yet (good compared to some reviews of other blades I've read). However, on my Highlander they don't hug the windshield at the top and bottom inch. This means that they don't clear the entire windshield, though it's not so distracting that I can't drive in the rain. Maybe a better application for other vehicles.

The wipers are doing a good job, they were installed a week back and till date no complaints. The reason for taking out one star is sometimes the wipers leave a very thin streak of water, but this is nothing major. I have to see how they perform in snow.

I had some difficulty getting the wiper onto the front passenger side arm of my 2008 Dodge Durango, the larger one fit onto the driver side very easily. The small 14 inch one will not fit onto the rear wiper arm at all. In fact, I believe I will have to buy a conventional metal bi-wing arm and strip it from the center clip to install, looks like a poor design by Dodge for putting replacements onto the vehicle rear. The wipers are really clean wiping. smooth operating, but then: they are brand new. We will see in a year how well they really work.
