Comments about Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Headlight:

Before anyone goes ballistic on not touching the bulbs durring install, I know better. These things last from 9 to 18 months tops. I will never use these bulbs again. I gave them the the benifit of the doubt after the first set. Now the second set have died. Other than life expectancy these bulbs are as advertised.

      Very long life

      Cons

        Best Uses

        • Very dark areas

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Headlight:

I brought these for my 02 Nissan Altima about 4 1/2 years ago to replace the weak OEM parts and they're still very strong. They light up dark roads very easily and have a far and wider viewable distance.

If you want your bulbs to last longer, stop touching them with bare hands. The oils in your hands will kill bulb lifetime.

        Put Silverstars In New Car

          Best Uses

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Headlight:

When I buy new cars I replace the OEM headlights right away with Silverstars. Once you try them you'll never go back to ordinary headlights. I see twice as far, and 30% wider. I read two reviews with negative comments about bulbs failing soon after replacement... DO NOT touch the bulb with your bare fingers or they'll burn out fast. I use Saran wrap on my hands when I handle Silverstars.

It depends upon the skill level of the person performing the operation. For installation, I would recommend purchasing a repair manual.
