Item is easy to install. I have a 97 cavalier and the flasher is located above the accelerator pedal attached to a metal support. The replacement does not allow the plastic clip bracket from the old OEM relay to go back into the metal support but a zip tie solves the trick. This was much cheaper than what [...] quoted me.

Comments about Tridon (Novita Tech. Inc) Electronic Turn Signal Flasher:

My '99 Dakota was having intermittant turn signal issues. After researching the issue on-line, it seemed to be a failing flasher. I replaced the original flasher with this and everything is working perfectly now.

Comments about Tridon (Novita Tech. Inc) Electronic Turn Signal Flasher:

My turn signals quit working but my flashers still worked. I assumed that I needed to replace the switch assembly. After a little research many people were citing this relay so I bought it and it worked perfectly. If you are having trouble locating where it goes, turn on your flashers and follow the clicking sound. Mine was between the door and my left knee. Should take about 15 min.

Takes about 2 minutes to install on my 99 Jeep Cherokee, including removing/reinstalling kick-plates. The sound is much louder, more mechanical, and intrusive than the stock part, but for 1/3 the price of the stock replacement, I'll get used to it.

                          A:

The Turn Signal Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, passenger side of steering column, under dash, mounted near cigarette lighter. Optional mounting location is under dash, on driver side of steering column.

How to Replace a Turn Signal Flasher? : At some point, you will drive your car and not hear the clicking sound the turn signal makes to let you know they are activated. When you check the dashboard, you notice the signal light indicator is not blinking. Unable to alert other drivers your intentions to cross lanes, turn a corner or exit the highway, you'll be in a very dangerous situation. Fortunately, it is something that can be easily fixed. Just follow these simple steps to replace your turn signal flasher in a matter of minutes and hit the road safely again. Let’s go. Instructions: 1) Turn the ignition switch on but do not start the engine. Activate the turn signal--left, then right--and walk around the car. If the turn lights come on but do not flash, the flasher is malfunctioning. Turn off the ignition switch. 2) Open the hood and disconnect the black cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 3) Locate the turn signal flasher. Depending on your vehicle make and model, you may find the flasher in the fuse box, underneath the instrument panel or around the steering column. It may look like a regular relay in form of a small 1-inch cube, or it might be a small plastic or aluminum cylinder around the same size. Sometimes you have to remove the cover underneath the steering column to locate it. 4) Unplug the flasher by carefully pulling the unit straight out of its electrical connector; on other models you might have to turn the unit around 90 degrees counterclockwise before you can pull it out of the fuse panel. Check your owner's manual. 5) Take the flasher with you to the auto parts store and match it up with the new unit to make sure you are getting an identical replacement. 6) Plug the new flasher in the electrical connector or fuse panel. 7) Connect the negative cable to the battery terminal. Tips & Warnings: *Consult your vehicle service manual to easily locate components in your car. You can buy a service manual at most auto parts stores or consult one for free at a public library. *If your vehicle is equipped with airbags, first unplug the battery negative cable, then unplug the positive cable and wait about 5 minutes before working near sensors in the steering column, instrument panel or fuse/relay center in the engine compartment. Otherwise you may accidentally trigger an impact sensor and deploy the airbags, which may cause serious injuries.

The turn signal flasher in 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier is located under the steering wheel inside a small pull out box.

yes if you install this flasher it will work, i recently today did led bulbs in my 03 explorer and swapped out for this flasher and it worked fine. it is to work between 2-6 led bulbs on your vehicle via 2 in the front 2 in the rear and 2 if you had a trailer or something else hooked up to your vehicle.

                          hope this helps.

Sorry, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
