By purchasing this battery on line it was quick and easy to order,pick up and they installed it there. That is the positive, the negative is I could not get re-payed for the core charge. The employees tried to enter it back to my card but were unable to do so. That creates additional problems. I will now have to go back to the store and have them re enter it back to my account. That pisses me off. I don't understand why I as the customer has to be inconvenienced as a result of choosing your company to purchase your product. I don't understand why the $12.00 number one was not able to be deducted off my card and number two, when the computer was unable to be used to remove the core charge, that I was not just given cash. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth about your company and means I will probably never again give my business to your company.

I have bought 3 or 4 of these batteries for my '92 and my '97 Jeep Cherokees (not grand Cherokees, real Cherokees) and are very happy with them. The fit is good, the cranking amps are plentiful and the service at my local store is very good. They are little pricey, but I will continue to buy these batteries from my local dealer. The warranty seems ample for this type and price of auto battery. I bought my latest battery through the internet and I believe I got a little discount on the price, so that was another plus!

First battery was shot after 20 months or so and got a replacement from AA. Replacement battery lasted 24 months and is now struggling to turn over. Checked/topped off acid level and charged...same deal.AA staff was great to deal with and helpful, batteries just are not so hot.

Bought one in 10/11 and it was completely dead by 11/12, and was replaced promptly under warranty. This battery then died by 1/13, and I decided to get store credit and upgrade to the Autocraft Gold.

I have this battery installed in my 2002 ranger since 07/2009. What is the battery life rating in months or years from purchase date? (For examaple, Is it a 5 yr/60 Month or 6yr/72 Month or 7 yr/84 Month rated battery). This AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 58, 550 CCA -part# 58-2 has two year free replacement as warranty. Free Replacement Period begins the day of purchase and expires at the end of the Free Replacement Period printed on your original sales receipt. This period does not renew when the battery is replaced during the Free Replacement Period. If the battery becomes defective after the Free Replacement Period and prior to the end of the warranty period, the warranty benefit will be prorated and can either be credited toward the purchase of a new battery or refunded at our option. The proration amount shall be determined by dividing the purchase price by the number of months of the warranty period, then multiplying the result by the months remaining in the warranty period. Partial months are rounded to the nearest whole month. Installation of an automotive battery in any other type of vehicle or equipment voids your warranty.
