I would by this product again.
I use my S-10 for everyday driving and light hauling. These pads are quiet and perform very well. I have a good strong pedal with good stopping distance.

I am a rural mail carrier, and used these for years on my Mail Blazers, with great results, considering all the stopping I do on a daily basis. Over the last 9 months, however, the quality has gone downhill. Several sets only lasted about 3000 miles (6 weeks for me), and I finally stopped hoping it was just a run defect and started purchasing the gold brake pads instead.

Over the years it seems that the tolerences during manufacture of these pads have grown. And it's the fronts and the rears that have the problem. The tabs that fit in the caliper slots are too wide and they hang up after brake application. Both fronts and rears have this issue. This causes one pad to wear prematurely while the other one is only partially worn. The other issue is on the rears. The pads are too long and won't fit in the caliper. The only remedy is to file them down but that is a lot of work for [$] pads. I have a bench grinder which makes short work of it. Just be aware that if you buy these they may not fit without some modification.

These are good pads for the money. I tried ceramic pads and wound up replacing the rotors because of the heat that the ceramic pads generate. The Wearever Silver pads are quiet, very good at heat dissipation and they also last. However you will have to live with the brake dust they generate, which is quite a bit.
