Comments about Monroe Max-Air Air Shock Absorber:

I bought a set of these on 11-10-2012,and had them installed in a hour. The hardest part is removing the old shocks. spray all bolts with penatrating spray. Once I got all the old rusty bolts broke loose, the hard part was done. I installed the air shocks and run the lines. I had some old 3/8" plastic hose taking up space in my garage, and covered the air line that might rub on the frame or brackets. Didn`t have to drill any holes, even found a hole near the rear bumper to place the air valve. Hooked up the air lines just finger tight, got my air hose and up they went. I checed for leaks and none!I left the truck with 60 lbs of air in them and 2 days later didnt lose a pound of air. I bought these so when I put weight in my bed in the winter it dont sag allmost to the tires. Good product, I think you will like too.

i have had 2 pair on my cars because my brother had them... i had them on the back of my focus wagon. it really helped when i had to move cause the rear end is so soft. i also put some on my current car 98 blazer. and couldnt be happier! wish they could make some for the front but then you have alignment issues.... all in all.. these are a must even for a everyday car/truck/suv or whatever

I absolutely love these air shocks. I just carried close to 1000 LBS of wood 800 miles and did not bottom out once. Great for those times you need to carry a heavy load. Just air up and you are ready to go. With no load I run 10 to 20 LBS of air. This is ABSOLUTELY the best thing I added to my truck.

Do you have to order a special 90degree angle set of adapters for a 2000 s-10 Blazer 4x4? Or do you just eliminate the rear sway bar and cut the frame away with a grinder and cutting wheel? I couldn't get them to lines to clear the frame either with the bungs pointed toward the front of blazer or toward the rear? Thanks

I don't have the answer, but want to know if there is a problem...I am considering a set for my 99 s-10 Blazer.
