My 2004 Chevy trailblazer decided not to move in any gear. I was stopped at a stop sign and when I pressed on the gas the trailblazer did not move, only the engine revved up. I have a 2007 LS Silverado (new style) and 460le Transmission seems to be making a noise when idling. Almost like a pump. It did that for a week, then after I came home from work, my son borrowed it to go to town, and it wont shift above 2nd gear and won't shift manually above second either. 94 Chevy 1500 5.7 2WD; When the truck is cold, I have issues with it shifting into drive or reverse from park. (It will just rev up). Once it warms up, it sometimes revs a little high before shifting. I have read that there are two solenoids 1-2 and 2-3, which would be responsible for this type of behavior?
