Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:
This was an exact fit. I should have changed it at an earlier date. I watched a video on the internet and it was almost as easy as the video indicated.

Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:
Copper washers too thin to provide good seal, used another set. Could not mount bracket back to firewall given size of filter and fuel lines.

Fule filter was an exact replacement for one in a Honda Civic, the filter bracket had to be removed to access the bolt that clamps the filter in place.

Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:
Price great, put in my civic...Im a beginner so I couldnt put the clamp in the car back on correctly after switiching....also the copper washers were very thin and I ended up reusing the washers with the orginal unit. Had leaks at first. Maybe I just didnt tighten down the replacement coppers correctly..dunno..but they were much more thin and lightweight.
Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:
Easy installation, got douched with gas when changing, so make sure you wear rubbers.

Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:
Same length for hard metal lines, but doesn't have as many tabs and bung for the bracket holder and screw to hold filter to bracket. Only has one tab to hold it to the bracket. Still should be ok though....

Q:
How hard is it to replace this filter on a 1995 Honda Odyssey? Also is there any special tools required? I am having slow pick up and suspect the fuel filter.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Instructions to replace fuel filter: 1. Crawl under the van near the rear bumper and locate the gas tank. Find the gas line running from the end of the gas tank toward the front of the vehicle. 2. Follow the gas line until you locate a clear plastic apparatus, which is the fuel filter. 3. Pry the filter from the fuel filter mount with the screwdriver; then use the pliers to pull the tubes off the ends of the fuel filter. 4.Slide the gas line onto the proper sides of the new fuel filter and then slide the filter back into the mount. 5. Start the car up, turning the key to "Accessories On" for 3 to 5 seconds first and then turn the car the rest of the way on. This allows the fuel pump to prime the gas line prior to the engine firing. Tools: Screwdrivers, Pliers. For more information, please feel free to call us at 1-877-238-2623 or visit your nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our technicians would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
