Dirt and even rust can enter the fuel stream at any point along the long journey from refinery to your vehicle’s fuel tank. So, your fuel filter becomes the final line of defense against damaging contaminants getting into your vehicle. Clean fuel, free from dirt particles and rust, is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of your vehicle. A tiny grain of dirt can clog injectors, leading to erratic performance and poor gas mileage. Clean fuel increases gas mileage and improves engine performance - and with the fluctuating cost of gas these days, that’s really important!

Product Features:
  • Defense against damaging contaminants
  • Increases gas mileage
  • Improves engine performance

      Great filter for the price.

Great product, took less than 20 minutes to install better than going to the stealership and paying three times as much. Keep up the great prices guys.

This was an exact fit. I should have changed it at an earlier date. I watched a video on the internet and it was almost as easy as the video indicated.

Price great, put in my civic...Im a beginner so I couldnt put the clamp in the car back on correctly after switiching....also the copper washers were very thin and I ended up reusing the washers with the orginal unit. Had leaks at first. Maybe I just didnt tighten down the replacement coppers correctly..dunno..but they were much more thin and lightweight.

Same length for hard metal lines, but doesn't have as many tabs and bung for the bracket holder and screw to hold filter to bracket. Only has one tab to hold it to the bracket. Still should be ok though....

Instructions to replace fuel filter: 1. Crawl under the van near the rear bumper and locate the gas tank. Find the gas line running from the end of the gas tank toward the front of the vehicle. 2. Follow the gas line until you locate a clear plastic apparatus, which is the fuel filter. 3. Pry the filter from the fuel filter mount with the screwdriver; then use the pliers to pull the tubes off the ends of the fuel filter. 4.Slide the gas line onto the proper sides of the new fuel filter and then slide the filter back into the mount. 5. Start the car up, turning the key to "Accessories On" for 3 to 5 seconds first and then turn the car the rest of the way on. This allows the fuel pump to prime the gas line prior to the engine firing. Tools: Screwdrivers, Pliers. Remove the bottom fuel line by turning the fuel line nut with a 14mm open end wrench. Turn counter clockwise to loosen. Once that the fuel line is loose, finish unscrewing the fuel line nut with your fingers. Pull the fuel line out of the bottom of the fuel filter.
