Comments about Dorman - Help Window Sash Kit - GM 2005-92:

This is a great product, identical to the original. You will need some opoxy or some kind of adhesive to attach it to the window. The average back yard mechanic should be able to replace these easily. The worst part was getting the broken ones off the window! Once installed they perform exactly like the original. They are made out a hard plasic, I kind of wish they were made out of a more durable material but they should last for the rest of the time I own the car. So for about 10 bucks and a couple hours work, taadaa!! I can go through the drive through again!!

I used these on a 2003 Grand Am, and YES those needed a 2 part epoxy. I used JB Quik Weld on them. Work fast though, as it sets up fast. You need to cut the old stuff off. I had to heat it with a heat gun and then chipped away at it for a while.

No, it does not require any epoxy.

I used an electric grinder with a flap disc on it. Made quick work of it.

I used a heat gun and sharp chisel and dremel with cutting head. It was not quick or easy, but they came off.

I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

I use a hacksaw blade to cut through the plastic til the blade come into contact with the glass. Start by cutting into the bottom of the channel that seat against the edge of the glass. This will separate the clip into two halves (front half and back half of clip). The width of the cut that the saw blade made will be wide enough to insert a flat blade screwdriver between the two halves of the plastic clip without allowing the screwdriver blade to touch the glass.
