Comments about BWD Coolant Temperature Sensor:
I installed this Coolant Temperature Sensor after my temperature gauge reading became erratic. The new sensor fixed my gauge problem and worked as advertised. The only issue I found is that the replacement sensor is 13mm while the factory sensor is 12mm. Other than that, I would recommend this sensor.

Where can I find this sending unit on a 2001 Honda accord XL 4cl.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The coolant temperature sensor on your 2001 Honda accord LX should be located under the distributor.Q:
I have a 2000 Honda Civic HX. It seems that the Engine Temperature Coolant Sensor has gone bad. The Engine Temperature is not registering. I have looked under the hood, but have failed the locate the sensor. Can someone please give me an idea where to look for it in the engine. Can I replace the sensor myself or need to take my car to the shop? Please advise.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The coolant temperature sensor is located in the engine block on the driver side of the engine compartment. Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.Q:
does this tell the ecm that the car has warmed up1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, it is usually the coolant temperature sensor that gives the ECM that input information.Q:

I have never heard of the coolant fan switch acting as the temp sending unit/sensor. If you can re-submit a question and provide the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle, we may be able to help you find the part you are looking for.A:
