Used Fram for 15 years. My last 2 oil changes, the filter was crushed by the band wrench. I only put it on hand tight plus 1/2 turn, but when I tried to remove them, they crushed very easily and were a pain to get off. I'm switching over to Purolator pure 1.

Used Fram for 15 years. My last 2 oil changes, the filter was crushed by the band wrench. I only put it on hand tight plus 1/2 turn, but when I tried to remove them, they crushed very easily and were a pain to get off. I'm switching over to Purolator pure 1.

Used Fram filters for 45 years and 1,500,000 miles. Never an oil related failure. Use good oil, good filters like Fram, and follow your vehicle manual requirements.
