It fits and seems to work, the only con is price. I think that there are comparable filters for less. Also I don't keep my oil in the car too long not because I think the oil is dirty, but because combustion byproducts create acids that attack engine components, so extended length filters are not a pro for me.

The Honda OEM filter has concentric multiple dimpled rings on the gasket. I guess they feel this will prevent leaks. The Honda OEM filter comes in a sealed plastic bag. I guess this is to improve shelf life before use. I plan on replace the 9/16 metal crush washer on the 92 accord with a teflon one to see if this will provide a better seal under lower oil plug tightness.

This is hands down the best filter on the market. Best to use with any extended use synthetic such as Royal Purple, Mobil 1 Extended,etc to get the most bang for your buck. All other filters need to be replaced way before the oil recommended drain intervals. I use synthetic oil in everything from a 4 cyl hyundai, 2003 8 cyl Navigator, 2005 8 cyl Durango & 1993 GS300 and have confidence with this filter staying on up to 6 months.

Have used Purolator Pureones in past. Tried Bosch Distance Plus filter and noticed seal was different. Confirmed it was correct for my car and installed. Had leak from oil filter than I could not stop.[...]Will never buy Bosch products again.
