Bought this for my '96 I30. Bolted up with no problems. Doesn't have the pads for the fuel filter clamp but it still snapped in with no problem. Great low-cost filter.

Exact fit factory replacement. Comes with new locking clips for both fuel fittings. These fitting do not require the special release tool -- a screwdriver will do it. An easy replacement -- once you locate it. (Driver's side frame rail.)

Meh...just any other fuel filter. Install is easy. fuel tank was heavily contaminated after 75000 miles. Recommend replacement at 50000 mile intervals.

Remove fuel pump relay.Start engine until it dies indicatimg no more fuel entering system. Crank engine 4 times to relieve fuel pressure in line.Replace fuel filter. You can use electrical cap connector to plug hoses to prevent fuel spillage still in line. No smoking around area.

The fuel filter on your 1999 Infiniti Q45 should be located on the passenger side right in front of the rear wheel underneath the vehicle. Follow the fuel lines to filter. Remove the lines from filter and fit the lines to the new filter.
