This is a greasable joint that needs to be greased after installation. No issues installing it. I grease up the caps to help them slide into the yolk. Also, use a piece of wood if you're pounding them in with a hammer to avoid damaging the caps.

This is an OE replacement, it works as well as the original part but with the ability to grease the universal joint during maintenance.

I made trip to Lake Erie to pick up a dog about an hour and a half from here.I picked up the u-joint prior and thought I would change them while up there at a relatives. Big mistake! I had the shaft out and old u-joints in 25 mins.. These u-joints were so snug I bent onne on the ears and had to file away a bunch of aluminum to make them fit.. 5 or 6 hours later after I completly ruined my drive shaft from file out to much material ,I was able to limp back to town at 40 mph. Now today I have to spend looking for a new drive shaft. SPEND MORE MONEY! very upset. The number do match up..

trying to find the u joints for my 1991 dodge w150, ext cab lwb rear drive shaft. It has 3 joints. the listing gives a diagram reference but can't see the diagram and the listing says front shaft center and rear. would be nice if the listings showed the diagrams that it referenced. thanksAsked on 10/28/2012 by scott from billingsley, al1 answer
