I have been using these lights in my past three GM vehicles and have always been satisfied with their performance. Every set has lasted at LEAST one year, and I have been commuting 30 miles each way at night for over ten years. With half of those miles being on narrow country roads with plenty of wildlife to look out for, a good white light is key in seeing deer in the cornfields and trees. They also look great without being obnoxious like those yellow, blue, and/or purple pseudo-HID lights that the kids seem to think are so cool these days. My headlights have always been a four-beam setup (9005 & 9006) so they cost a bit more, but are worth every penny in my opinion. As long as you are careful to not touch the glass when installing them, and you have no leaks in your lens/housing assembly, they should last quite a while under normal circumstances. And once again, they're AMERICAN MADE[...]

I drive a 2008 GMC Sierra and these bulbs only lasted six months. I definitely won't be buying these again.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
Bulbs work great, uses a white light to illuminate as well as makes your vehicle look better at night. DO NOT TOUCH BULB, oil on your skin causes bulb to burn out prematurely which is why a lot of people complain about this issue. Overall I love them
Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
Offers a slight improvement in lighting but has a very short life when compared to OEM types. Not worth the money and the bother of changing the bulb.

bought the most expensive ones at the store ([$] for the set)and am very disappointed. I have never had a bulb burn out this fast.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
These lights lasted about 2 years in my wife's tahoe. Yes that is significantly shorter than OEM but they perform much better and are worth the expense and hassle to give her an edge on the deer!

Lights up the road much better than conventional bulbs, BUT did not last more than 25% the life of ordinary bulbs.
