You would get access to the wiper assembly from under the hood. With the hood up and along the firewall, if you look at were the wiper arms attach, that is where the wiper motor and wiper linkage is located. Remove the arms from the linkage bushings and gain access to were the linkage is under the cowl. Sometimes you just have to remove a cover under the hood along the firewall to get to the linkage.Answered on 1/19/2012 by John the Car-Doc from AAP

The wipers have arms under the hood which connect by these bushings. This is a variety pack for several vehicles so you may need to purchase two packs if you need to replace more than two bushings at once. It's easiest if you remove the arms from the vehicle to connect them properly and then slide the connected linkages back under the hood. Use a crayon to mark their location if needed. Pay careful attention where the wipers sit before removing them and also pay attention to how the linkages sit under the hood so they can be properly reinstalled.Answered on 2/16/2010 by Richard the Dobe from Roanoke, VA
