This model will fit several vehicles, I read thru the instructions and pre-assembly leaving hardware finger tight until final assembly helped during installation. Took about two hours using air tools. Instructions were very accurate for my 2001 Ranger XLT. The bumper now sits about 1 1/4" lower than stock height as the hitch brackets must go between the frame and the bumper brackets. Using the dropped spare tire as a support it was easy to lift the heavy cross bar into it's final position. Only missing two 1/2 lock washers for the 6 knurled bolts to side brackets to complete. I had these in my extra hardware supplies from the garage. I can now mount my 3K lbs electric winch to a 2" receiver bar for frame strong pulling applications. I can safely pull our CC 2554 lawn tractor and trailer without worry. The bigger towing jobs are now left for our F250.

When installing on my 1998 Astro Van it took a little longer than the 45 minutes stated to install. It might be easier to install on other
vehicles but not this one. Ease of attachment and access to tightening the bolts made the job a lot harder, therefore longer to install. Custom fit hitch might be better for this particular vehicle.

This product was extremely easy to install and use. It took about 45mins to install with a friend. It is rather important you have a helper because it is extremely difficult otherwise. The instructions were very easy to follow. It was a little difficult to figure out which bolts went where because there were so many of them. But it came with all the right parts and even some extras due to it's multiple vehicle application. I would highly reccomend this product to anyone looking for a decent hitch at a great price.

Haven't completed install yet but have put together and ready to bolt on. Instructions are very poorly written. No parts list and have to guess at which bolt goes where. Also, the store gave me a returned product which someone had pre-drilled holes in it that don't match up with my needs. However, I can make it work.

Tow hitch is well made and towed its first load today, 2200 lbs of topsoil. It took me 3 hours to install. You might be able to install in 40 minutes if you installed one last week. There are just so many different bolts, washers, and spacers that you are going to get something wrong and have to take it back apart and put it back together.
It wasn't too easy to put together, but wasn't super hard. I would recommend for a mechanically inclined.

I used this on my 96 S10. Install was pretty easy other than not having a half inch drill bit to drill the two required holes in the frame. Had to use a 5/16 and round it out.

Ordered on the internet. Picked up at local store next morning. Hassel free. Great service. The instructions are good but unless you have a vechile lift it may be time consuming and a bit difficult to install. I purchased a locking pin to ensure that my bike could not be removed from the hitch. It will be used mostly to transport the bike on the back of my pick up truck.

If you are looking for a strong, versitale tow hitch, this is the one. If you sell your vehicle, just take this hitch off and install it on your next truck or suv... The installation was pretty simple, and the instructions were easy top read and understand. Be sure to safe the instructions because installation will vary from vehicle to vehicle. this is the same strong sturdy you would find in any other Reese tow hitch. Dont be fooled into thinking this tow hitch wont serve your needs. I would by this tow hitch again if I ever needed to put one on my second vehicle, Thanks
