It was good. but if i had a choice I would a getting a small one just to make the installation easier because in these Japaneese truck you don't have that much of a space. But at the end of the day ...I place it next to the radiator so it can be cooled off by the fan as well.

After replacing my Saturn S-Series radiator, the automatic transmission cooler lines were leaking where the compression fittings connect the lines to the radiator. I could only slow the leak but not stop it. Giving up before damaging the new radiator and using this aftermarket transmission fluid cooler was the answer. Leaks gone.
Installation would be easy if done with the radiator outside of the engine compartment.
Installation was hard for me as I did it while the radiator was inside the engine compartment - but I got it done.
Be careful. The fins on the transmission cooler (and on the radiator and on the AC condenser) get bent easily and when we rub our hands against them they are like cheese graters.
Tip. If bypassing the radiator like I did, reuse the quick disconnect connectors and their clips from the old transmission cooler lines where they attach at the transmission. Makes things nice and clean.

If the transmission cooler is leaking on the radiator, you can instead take the transmission lines off and install this to compensate it without having to replace the radiator.Answered on 8/24/2010 by Mike from AAPA:
OE oil coolers are inside the bottom of the radiator. If you have trans fluid coming out of the bottom of the radiator, check for loose connections where the trans coolant lines attach. It is unusual for trans fluid to leak out of a bad radiator cooler. Usually your trans fluid starts to look like a strawberry milkshake and your coolant gets greasy - especially in the overflow bottle, because of fluid transfer. If you don't have oil in your coolant, and water in your trans fluid, the leak is probably in the coolant lines at the radiator connection. If you have an internal leaking cooler make sure you flush the cooling system and trans to get the water out of the tranny and the oil out of the coolant BEFORE you mount the external trans cooler. Also, make sure you put the new cooler on the FRONT of the radiator and that it is big enough for your vehicle
