Removing the dead lamp was not too difficult but installing the new part can be frustrating because of the way Honda engineered the hold-down clip to keep the lamp from falling off. Plus, this lamp went into the driver side which require moving the power-steering pump out of the way. Not an easy task but doable.

i have bought this item in May and it goes bad very quickly. now is septmber and I need to install a new one. the oem last for very long time but this one is worse than any bulb at home.

Installed this bulb 1 month ago as an OEM replacement for a burned out headlight bulb in my 2004 Honda Pilot. Very simple installation, literally a 2 minute job. Bulb works great so far, hopefully it will last as long as the original OEM bulb.

These bulbs are about 20% brighter than OEM, which is good for the price. However, I am on my third set of these in less than a year. I can not get more than 4 months out of them. Of course the warranty is 90 days if that. The OEM bulbs lasted for over 5 YEARS! I'm going back to OEM.
