          needs to have the right pulley on it, my 87 ranger has v-groove and this pulley has the serpentine pulley on it. get the right pulley on it and it would be great

            how do i take my old one off?

              A:

              Once the serpentine or V belt is removed off the pulley, there should only be two or three bolts holding the alternator on the vehicle. Remove these bolts and you should be able to take the alternator off.
