This filter is the same size as OEM and delivers excellent results for a high end performance filter. It traps more over 99.9% of all contaminants that's more than mosy filters on the market today. It is also rated for 10,000 miles.
This is the best filter money can buy and rated in the top 3 world-wide. I use it with Castrol Edge. When you use the best oil, use the best oil filter....I use both and highly recommend both to anyone who cares about their vehicle.

The filter is rated for 10k miles. Although the manufacturer recommends replacing the oil filter with every oil change, I skipped it two times. Why, because this oil filter is a high quality product and independent tesing showed far few impurities escaped this filter. You be the better judge of changing the filter with every oil change.

For the price, this filter is a quality product. Especially, if Bosch puts its name on it. Several web videos dissect oil filters and this one is better or just as good as the expensive products. The filter was a perfect match for the OE filter. Really easy for the novice home mechanic.

Quality seems as good as Mobil1 and Pure1 filters.
Better than Fram, STP, etc.
Larger than the standard Bosch filters.
The threads are clean with no flashing.
Product comes in plastic box, so no worrying about cardboard paper bits getting into the filter.

I run this filter with Mobil 1 synthetic in my 2002 Toyota Sequoia. I've just clocked 212,000 miles and still going (keep my fingers crossed). This filter gives me the peace of mind that I can run 10,000 miles between oil changes and not have to sweat it.

I am preparing to go to Med School. As to not have a car payment during that time, I am doing everything to prolong the life of my Mazda Tribute. One of the decisions was to use a high end oil filter. The Bosch Distance Plus Oil Filter was chosen. After a 5,000 mile oil change interval in the hot and humid North Carolina summer, the oil came out just as clean as the day it was poured. Another benefit that came during this time was an average 1.75 mpg fuel economy increase; even with continued AC use.
Due to the cost of this oil filter, I am trying other high end oil filters that may be more cost effective but produce the same results. However, I will probably be returning to this filter since it did pay for itself in the end in the realm of fuel cost, and hopefully return by not having a car payment.
