Spec sheets are unavailable for this product. On the outside it appears to have all the better design components, but you never really know unless you either cut one open or believe the published spec sheet.

Q:
Is the extra cost of the Bosch D3410 be that beneficial over the (regular) Bosch 3410. For use on a 2002 Lincoln continental with 115K miles? Purchased used so I have no history on oil/filter changes.Asked on 12/14/2012 by Transy67 from Pocomoke, MD1 answer

This high-efficiency filter is compatible with both synthetic and conventional motor oils. Product Features: Advanced Synthetic Fiber Media has 300 percent Greater Capacity provides longer life and 99.9 percent Efficiency reduces engine wear. Heavy Gauge Case provides increased durability and increased burst resistance. Heavy Gauge Steel Base Plate (500 PSI) which provides 2x's greater burst resistance strength and increased durability. Silicone Anti-drainback Valve Protects engine against dry starts and provides for longer life. PTFE Synthetic Gasket helps with the ease of installation and provides longer life.
