Very dependable that one was. Ill be happy if this one is 75% as good as the last. Why did I go to Gold instead of staying with the silver? Seems the silver in this model is no longer available? Oh well time will tell!

This one may be a defective battery because I just recently replaced the battery for my truck as well as this one for my CR-V. My trucks battery was a definate improvement and no issues. This one for my CR-V is definately lacking power and the engine turned over quickly after the was drive a few miles. It can't be not fully charged because we drove an hour ride a few days after install which should adequately charge any new battery that needs a complete charge. I've rebuilt repair and restored cars for many years so I know new batteries sometimes need a good drive to get that innitial full charge but this battery just seems to lack hold a good strong charge. Like I said I just replaced my truck with an Autocraft Gold and it starts better than ever. As for anyone who says that the batteries are heavy, they should be having someone else install them because, BATTERIES ARE MADE OUT OF LEAD!!! They are supposed to be heavy and if you think they are too heavy you should not be working on your car! I am going to return the battery for my CR-V and see if maybe it was defective. I know for a fact the charging system is good so lack of power may just be a bad apple.

Ordered on line (stated will fit my car) and pick up from local store(sales said it will fit). I waited for more than 30mins for the guy to start install the battery. Then he told not fitting my car and told me to go to other dealer.

Solid battery with great CCA. Replaced OEM battery on a Honda. OEM was much less powerful and only lasted 3.5 years. This one should do the trick for quite a while.

I bought this battery as a replacement for a dysfunctional 2011 battery. Previously, when I would leave the car in the accessory position for a small period of time, the car would die. Now that I have this battery, I leave the car in accessory all of the time without having to worry about being stranded anywhere. This battery is well built and reasonably priced.

Installed in my Honda Civic (2007) about a week ago. It's difficult to rate a battery that has only been in use for a few days. But installation went fine, and - as of this writing - the battery is working well. (Side note: save yourself a headache, and have a 8mm and 10mm socket wrench ready for your battery replacement project.)

The Date code on the AutoCraft Gold Battery, Group Size 51R, 500 CCA, part number 51R-2, is a round colored sticker located on the top of the battery. Most will have a 2 digit month/2 digit year on batteries manufactured in 2009 or earlier. The code will be a letter that determines followed by 2 digit year code.
