The Trico 47-700 inserts fit beautifully into the original equipment Bosch-made wiper blades on both my Audi and BMW. A wonderful alternative to what the dealer sells at a fraction of the cost. Pretty easy and quick to install, and they do a wonderful job clearing the glass.

I've always had great experiences with advance auto but these wiper blades that came up as an 'exact fit' for my 2005 BMW 325xi are far from that. The passenger side was fine but the driver side refill was about 1cm too short to clip into place. I was able to bend the metal rails from the old refills back in shape and reuse them but out of the box these refills were no good. Final note, we had our first real rain with them yesterday and they both squeaked like crazy. Some people had good luck with them, I unfortunately wasn't one of them.

The passenger side was fine but the driver side refill was about 1cm too short to clip into place. I was able to bend the metal rails from the old refills back in shape and reuse them but out of the box these refills were no good. Final note, we had our first real rain with them yesterday and they both squeaked like crazy. Some people had good luck with them, I unfortunately wasn't one of them.

This item is exactly as it is described. For no reason, my wiper arm is not 22' as BMW factory defined but 23' long. Although one inch short, this refill still fits the arm. I'll see how long it lasts.

These refills, when trimmed to the appropriate length, are compatible with the original 20 inch passenger side wiper blade of an e46 series BMW. They are approximately a half inch too short to be used on the 22 inch driver side blade. The driver side replacements are available from Bosch as 25 inch refills that need to be cut down to 22 inches. It would be great if Trico would provide a slightly longer version of this product (i.e., 23 inches) to cover both blades on the BMW application.

Worked as advertised. If you have 2 different sizes of wiper blades, get this refill kit and you only have to buy one package to fit both sides of the window.

Not much to say about these replacement wiper blades. They fit properly, were easy to install, and work great so far. 4 stars because I'm rating them after only two weeks so I have no idea how long they will last. I might change to 5 stars if they work without failure for a year or two. Not sure you can expect any wiper blades to last longer than two years when exposed to the intense sun down South, but we shall see ...

much cheaper than buying the whole blade. Besides, aftermarket blades I see are usually lower quality than OE.

This is not a wiper blade assembly. This is only the rubber blade part that you have to cut to fit. It depends on how long your driver side wiper is.Answered on 10/31/2010 by Mike the Auto Parts Master from AAPA:
