      Comments about National Oil Seal:

      After about 50 miles of driving it leaked. This seal was different then the one I took off (after 130,000 miles). The original had an extra grove in it and the flange had a ridge that fit into the grove.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        05 F150, 4.6L 4x4, 8.8 Rear End, Pinion Seal
        This was a high quality seal.
        It is easy to tap in because on the metal ring on the outside of the seal.
        Fit perfectly!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            No. This is a pinion seal.

            I think he means YES. This fits behind the yoke in the front of the differential housing. Another name for it is the pinion seal.
