They will provide more light but be aware they die out very fast

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
Brighter than the lights I replaced, but not as bright as I thought they might be. I did not opt for the Ultra or zXe's for the extra $$$, but would consider it next time. Easy to replace on the Audi A4, as would be expected. As always with new bulbs, make sure you do no touch the glass, as any hand oils or dirt can cause early burnout....good luck

Easy to pick up at store with Internet discounted order. Don't loose/break the factory clip on the Mercedes ML wire harness plug...not available at dealer or aftermarket w/o purchasing entire light assembly...Ouch!!!

Bulbs work well, but burn out quickly. With daytime running lights last less than 1year.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
These are very good bulbs. I have been using them in my Subarus for a number of years. When there is a discount, the price is decent too. I do wish they lasted a bit longer. I typically get 1 to 1 1/2 years. I did not knock off stars for that though since I often leave my headlights on (they turn off automatically when the car is turned off) and it has a chart right on the box that shows the life is short versus other bulbs. It's a trade off for brighter bulbs.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
Used these in my Mazda CX-7 and they were definitely brighter than the standard halogen bulbs they replaced. However, one of them burnt out in <1 yr (about 10k miles, with the headlights on only some % of that). Sylvania states a 12 month guarantee on the packaging so I called (still had the receipt luckily) and they sent me a new 2-pack after reminding me that with higher performance comes shorter life. That said, I'll keep using them for the added brightness.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
Used to buy Ultra's but they don't last and don't seem that much brighter, Ultra's not worth the extra price. I do put Silverstar's in all my cars though. We have lots of dark country roads (and deer)and the silverstars really light up the road.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
I replaced the OEM headlights in my 2003 VW Passat and immediately noticed a much improved difference. The only thing that you have to realize when purchasing these is that since they burn brighter than a OEM halogen, the lifespan is shorter. If you are prepared for a shorter lifespan when you purchase them then it shouldn't frustrtate you when they burn out. Typically they've been lasting approx. 14 months for me.

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar TWIN Halogen Headlight:
As a replacement headlight this is much brighter than I expected. It's not the most expensive nor the cheapest but definitely worth it's cost. It provides a clearer, brighter light to see by when driving at night. I don't use the brights as often now.

Yes. I am showing that it is.Q:
How long will these lights lasts? 3 months, 1 year?4 answers
A:
Out of two headlights, one went out in 6 months and the second one went out about two months later for a total of 8 months. Package claims 12 months of complete satisfaction so I am going to try and ask Customer Service for a replacment. However, they are only available in the day time (9 to 5 or something like that) making it harder for me to contact them unless I take some time off from work.A:
