To start with the product is misnamed. As the picture clearly shows this filter is not round. It also does not fit my car, a 1993 Saturn SC1. Even though it claims to be a replacement for my car it is too big. The top of the filter is the same size, but the bottom is about 0.25 inch longer. This makes it too big to use. It will not fit in the tray. If you purchase this brand of filter I would recommend that you make sure it fits your car before you leave the store. I gave it a one star rating because that was the lowest allowed.

Would be better if Made in USA, which is hard to find anymore. Fram is made in Mexico and it seems like what stores carry. I would pay a little more if I found filters made in USA...4 stars.

Had installed since 1/2012. Filter gasket has came unglued a bit in a spot. Whatever, it's an air filter. I will replace again sometime soon.

I don't understand why they call it the classic round filter when it's actually rectangular with rounded corners? It seemed to fit right into my air cleaner box without any problems, quality seemed decent. I can't honestly say anything about noticing any performance enhancement difference since it was installed in part of a complete tune up being done at once. It doesn't seem to produce any signs of restricting any airflow. Overall it seems to function well for a basic air filter. If filter companies wanted to get fancy they could put ratings on their filters for different environments in the way the home furnace filters are rated, such as dusty, damp, high pollen areas etc.

I replaced a nasty, plugged filter which had not been changed- ever. It must have weighed five pounds. New filter dropped in with 30 seconds of effort and car ran much, much better. Be sure to check the Advance webiste for grat discounts. I use it all the time and it saves money and time. Order and pick up at store- easy!
