I purchased three O2 sensors for my 1999 Ford ranger 3.0 because the Check Engine light was on. I had replaced the DPF EGR sensor as suggested by many on line blogs but it didn't work. After changing all three 02 sensors, it's been two weeks and the Check Engine light is still off. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor:
I have a 99 Ford Ranger 2.5 liter. Had a bad sensor so I replaced it with the Bosch. I got this one because the wires are longer. If I would of bought the cheaper one, it would have been to short, even though it said exact fit for my truck. Look under the specs and it will tell you how long they are. Go for the longer one!!!

Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor:
Last oxygen sensor lasted over 100,000 with not a minute of problems.I always look to Bosch first because I think there better than OE from Ford and much cheaper to boot.

Comments about Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor:
This sensor fit our '01 Escape v6 perfectly - the connector was correct, wire length was correct and threads were correct. After a few weeks of use, it seems to be holding out fine, but I'd hope it would last another 100,000 miles.

With reference to your query on Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor part# 15718, there are 2 oxygen sensors on your 1994 Ford Explorer. One on each side of the engine. The Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor - part# 15719 should be an exact fit for bank 2 sensor 2 on your 2005 Mazda Tribute. The bank 2 sensor 2 should be located on the driver's side side to the rear most after the catalytic converter. got a 94 explorer, my scan tool is saying both o2 sensors show a lean reading both sides , im thinking possibly mass air flow. having a hard time thinking both o2 sensors showing the same reading for both sides at the same time any suggestions ?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The lean codes commonly occur on many Ford vehicles, and are set when the powertrain control module (PCM) sees the air/fuel mixture is running too lean (too much air, not enough fuel). A lean fuel condition may exist if the engine is sucking in too much air and/or the fuel system is not delivering enough fuel. If bad enough, a lean fuel condition may cause lean misfire, a rough idle, hesitation or stumble when accelerating, and/or poor engine performance. Unmetered air can enter the engine through a vacuum leak, a dirty airflow sensor that is not reading airflow accurately, an EGR valve is not closing and is leaking exhaust into the intake manifold, an EGR valve that is allowing too much flow (because the EGR differential pressure sensor that monitors EGR flow is faulty and is under-reporting EGR flow). If the problem is not enough fuel, the cause may be a weak fuel pump, restricted fuel filter, leaky fuel pressure regulator or dirty fuel injectors. Some other common issues would be a dirty mass airflow (MAF) sensor, an engine vacuum leak, a bad EGR differential pressure sensor. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.Q:
