Remember shocks absorb the expansion and contraction of the springs in your car. If the springs are shot. New shocks will not fix that.

order the correct part for your application. these are the cheapest bottom of the barrel part you can buy. they are better than old leaky shocks, mostly because they are not leaking. these are not high performing parts.

I replaced both rear struts on my 1994 Chevy Cavalier with these struts. It was a 4 hour job for someone new to it. My old struts had completely failed (they would completely compress and not rebound at all). These new struts compress and slowly rebound. I have noticed better breaking, a better ride on bumpy roads, and better handling. The replacement of these struts is something I highly recommend given that it isn't that expensive and makes such a difference on the car.
