Comments about BWD/Intermotor Fuel Damper Assembly:
The part was 1/3 the cost of the factory part so I was willing to make it work. The original part has a locating boss for the fuel seal gasket to center on. The BWD part doesn't have this allowing the gasket to move off center and leak.I ended up making a new fuel gasket out of two copper gaskets that I modified to fit together. Pain in the [*], but it solved the problem. I could not find a new gasket with the correct 14mm inside diameter and 21.5mm outside diameter anywhere.If you have paitence and a supply of copper gaskets,you might be able to make this work for you.
