Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
I looked online for cheap radiators as this is the second time I will have put one in my old 1994 Ford E-150 conversion van. The first one came from eBay via Czechoslovakia. It was all metal and did last several years, but eventually split along the top and became unpatchable. There were some radiators available online via Miami, Florida, but they had to be shipped here. Upon checking AutoAdvance, they had a coupon which, if purchased online, brought the price down to within $9 of the cheap Miami price, plus I could pick up the radiator here at the store. I had to pay sales tax, but stil the price was within $20 of having it shipped here, and I got it right away. Now, will the newer aluminum and plastic construction hold up? We'll see.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Radiator lasted less than 12 months before it started leaking all the way around the seal where the botton plastic cap is attattached to the aluminum body. The vehicle is only driven 80 miles/week in normal central Texas weather conditions.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
VITAL that your radiator be grounded. Otherwise, electrolysis may occur which can break doen welds in the metal core. You can test for current with an multimeter. Ground one probe and put the other in the coolant at the top of the radiator without touching the radiator neck. If there is more than 0.1 volt, your radiator needs grounded.

Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:
Don't get rid of your old radiator before install. You will need old fittings, mounting bolts, mounting clips and fan shroud clips. Good fit. Very nice price after online coupon. :-)
