Comments about BWD/Intermotor Ignition Coil:
After the coil failed (within a month of being installed) I tried to replace it, only to find that the rubber boot at the end came off when I removed the coil. With the boot now firmly attached to the spark plug (and not the coil), I was unable to remove the plug. I have spent several days with various tools trying to get the boot off so that I could replace the coil, with no success. So not only did the coil not fix the problem, it made it worse. One would think that at least, you could make an ignition coil that stayed together. Guess not.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The vehicle could be misfiring, loss in power is one of the most common ways to know your coils are failing.A:
The easyest way to find out is to unplug each coil one at a time, if the motor seems to bog down when you unplug on then it is working fine, if you unplug one and there is no change then you know that it is in need of replacingQ:
I have a 1999 Acura TL will I need 6 Ignition coils for my spark plugs or do I only need one for the whole system?2 answers
A:
