At this point I can only comment on the ease of installation and how they operate at this time. Only had them on a couple of weeks and all is going well so far.

Over the years I have owened two Jeep Liberties and four Jeep Cherokee's. After many miles on all of them ,the lift assit cyclinders go bad. I find that the one's at Advance are the best replacements . They are less exspensive than dealer parts and do the job well. I have used both the hood and tailgate and lift hatch ones .
Best off all : no more bumping your head .

Restored the hatch auto opening and lift of the rear glass hatch. May even be a little stiffer than the OEM. Only ones I found with a Lifetime Guarantee. I highly recommend this brand.

after 2 years of using of the glass not staying up, I replaced the two supports, wow what a difference
after replacing just 1, it was able to hold the glass up with out a problem, but with 2 new supports, it takes a good amount of pressure to close the glass, need to use both hands to push it down
