I used this on the back side of the wheels that had not been cleaned for about 6 months. It dissolved all brake dust and dirt, and even took off some little bits of tar with some scrubbing. It does NOT leave any residue, but you do need to wipe the water spots off with a microfiber cloth for the best shine. The best part is I cleaned (thoroughly) four 20" wheels and I barely used any cleaner. The foam clings and lathers very well. Use this in combination with Westley's Bleach White tire cleaner and some good tire shine for a brilliant looking set of wheels and tires.
I've never been disappointed in a Meguire's product. Try it, Advance will take it back if you don't like it.

Works fast with little effort. It also makes a great hand cleaner. In fact it works better than most hand cleaners for grease. No residue or odors.

Very easy to use. Removed all dirts, easy. Used with Mothers polish, so don't know why my rims still shine. (Cleaned 6 days ago) :)
I believe, it better to use this stuff in gloves.
