With reference to your inquiry on the Factory Air Air Conditioning Resistor -part# 20274, the blower motor resistor on your Jeep Wrangler TJ would be located below the glove box, forward of the dash, and is fastened into the the blower motor case. It may be seen by looking under the dash as well as by removing the glove box. Yes, you have to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. This will prevent the new airbag from deploying during the installation process and causing an injury. Open your fuse panel after locating (Obviously) and Pull the airbag fuse out to fully deactivate the airbag system. After replacing the new airbag, Open the fuse panel and reinsert the airbag fuse. Open the hood again to reconnect the negative cable to the battery.Q:

The blower motor resistor should be located behind the glove box. Open your glove box half way, hold the sides into, open it all the way and slide it out. It is held by two 5/16 bolts. Take the bolts out, turn the entire thing around and you could access the resistor.Q:
