Tried to use while changing a fuel pump on a 99 Crown Vic, product broke before fuel lines could be removed. Better to buy the metal scissor type fuel line tool.

Comments about Autocraft Disconnect Tool - 9-Piece:

I bought this tool on my second trip to the store after being unable to use another fuel line tool I bought. This set had what I needed to do the job, but broke into 3 pieces when I put it in place to remove fuel line. I was able to put it together with electrical tape to perform function. This tool caused me aggravation and reduced my profit on this job. [*]

This tool is not worth the money. The way thier designed the spring that is inside of the fuel line woulhave a hard time of gitting moved out of the way by the removel tool. I worked on the front fuel line for 30 minutes with no chance of the line comming off and the tool was ruined and the old fuel filter is still on the truck.

You find the correct size disconnect tool and put it around the line, then push the tool up againest the fitting so the lip part of the tool goes under the spring lock and releases the connection.

you have to match the approate line removel tool to the same size tool then spred the tool apart, and then work the tool into the fitting, when it is in the fitting the line should be able to pull out.
