I purchased this item for use on my buick lucerne 2007 to cover the steering wheel. Am having much difficulty stretching same to fit the wheel. I also noticed that it is not recommended for use over light leather. My wheel is gray leather. Is this okay. I will be gratful for any info concerning same. Thank you.

      A:

it is going to be a snug fit, it is usually not recommended for car with light color interior, because especially fi its hot, moisture builds and could stain, something that you wouldn't even notice on darker colors. gray should be fine.
