Nice quality beefy units. Appear to be strong and well made with durable materials, but time will tell as this is my first time purchasing these units. Install was a breeze with no misfitting issues. Factory CVs lasted about 150 thousand miles. I expect the same, if not more, from these units. The price was very fair in my opinion. Was pleased to find out the ones made in Turkey and USA are actually MOOG brand of CVs. A nice bonus in my opinion. I would recommend these to anyone looking to extend the life of their vehicle.

So after reading all the reviews I was nervous. In the box it looked very nice. I compaired it to the old one and looked fine so I gave it a try. I did have a little bit of trouble getting it in the tranny side but it did go in. I test drove it and everything seemed fine. I gave it back to my customer and they had it maybe 2 hours and called me and said it wont move and tranny fluid all over the ground. After towing it home I found the drive shaft end at the tranny came out about 2-3 inches allowing the fluid to leak out. The only thing that really holds the drive shaft in place is the retaining clamp that goes over the bearing. There is no snap ring that holds it in. Well to my suprise the clamp was still on the bearing but here the entire bearing slid up the shaft which allowed the end to have play and come out. I am not sure how they install the new bearing but this one was able to move which caused all my problems. I would reccomend getting a remanufactured one. My reason is they use the core which is the factory core and things seem to fit better. If you compare the new one and your original you will see there are 2 or 3 differences. I just know in my case I wont buy the new one again.

Comments about GSP New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:
Save yourself the time. I read the reviews about the axel not fitting and thought maybe I could have some good luck. Well I didn't and the axel didn't fit. I had to take it back and exchanged it for a remanufactured one which I had to wait on. Same warranty and everything slid right in no problem. Just wished I saved myself time and got the remanufactured one right off the bat. It would of taken me 3 hours max instead of the 8 because of waiting time. Forewarning the reman had a core charge.

Comments about GSP New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:
Part was not correct out of the box. My bad for not thoroughly comparing it to the old part before installing. Killed the transaxle seal, which was many hours to remove and replace. Counterman at advance confirmed part was wrong and must have been put in the wrong box. This admission did not get me a new transaxle seal or the time to install the seal and re-do the axle

2005 Ford Focus ZX5. Make sure you take the old one with you to the store and measure the teeth on the end that goes in the trans. I bought 1 of these to find out that it just wouldn't fit into the transmission. I saw another review post about buying 2. 1 fit and 1 did not. If you want to take your chances with this, more power to you.
If you don't want this headache or can't take it with you, buy the remanufactured one.

Comments about GSP New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:
It took 2 to get one that worked.
1st one the bearing diameter was .005" oversized and would not fit in the transmission.
Also the Seal surface was so chattered I don't think the seal would have sealed.
Took that one back and exchanged it for a different one. I took a 1-2" Micrometer with me to measure the new one.
New one was PERFECT, right sizes and not chatter.
Got back and it slid right it.
HAPPY DANCE!!!!
Just be aware that the bearing and seal surfaces may not be the correct diameters.
