Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:
LT Gasmatics revived ride on a 23 year old truck that still had OEM units installed. No more front end nose dives. I don't know that they would be suitable for larger than the 1/2 ton model.

Very easy installation on Chevrolet or GMC 1/2 ton trucks...I did one and let my 13 year old nephew do the other.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:
If not installing yourself, you may want to find a mechanic that will prior to ordering. I found it difficult to find a mechanic that would install shocks that I had purchased and medical issues prevented me from attempting self installation. Seems most shops want to make some extra money by providing the shocks. Would be great is Advance Auto Parts had a "find a mechanic" feature on their web site, listing a network of mechanics that have agreed to install parts purchased from Advance Auto.
