Better to buy a new one.
I bought this starter in 2008. It only lasted 4 years. Got a replacement for free per the lifetime warranty. The new one only has a one year warranty. Probably won't last. better...Read complete review

only lasted 30,000 miles 2 years, took it apart one of the solders broke, fixed it myself.

The starter was a an easy install with perfect fit. With the online coupons, it was an inexpensive purchase and after a couple weeks and maybe 1k miles, it works well.

reconditioed starter, well done and as good or better than original factory equipment. placed order on line and was ready to pick up when I got to the store. store employees were nice and even took off the heat shield off the old starter and installed it on the new one.

The starter was a exact fit for my application. It tool longer to find the correct tool and remove the old starter then it did to install this unit.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.A:
