Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
pump installed great, tested good, built 50 psi which is good. but 4 months later it only builds 20psi and car hardly runs. after testing the regulator, injectors, and filter. the pump is found to be fualty, the tank comes out AGAIN and a much better brand pump will be installed
do not buy this pump! spend the extra for the bosch or spectra, cheaper is not always better when dropping a fuel tank

Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
Looks to be OK... had to order additional parts to work with it on the auto... so can't really say much about it as of yet

i had a problem like this on a 2000 s10. it turned out to be the catylitic converter was plugged. very annoying i changed the plugs wires coils fuel filter and pump. finally gave up and took it to a friends shop where he could not find anything. i told him i once saw the converter code so go ahead and change it. it fixed the problemA:
yea it can do that because your car had a certain amount of fuel pressure that makes the car start and run then it has a certain fuel pressure that makes the car drive or you can just have a fuel pump that works when it wants to either or you will need a new fuel pumpQ:
is there a cheaper one for this car1 answer
