Makes a loud whining sound.

Comments about Airtex Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

I just installed this fuel pump and it's making a loud whining sound. When I come to a stop it feels like my engine isn't running as good, so the pump is obviously not working right. Now I have to go to the trouble of removing my tank again to take the pump back and get a replacement.

  A:
  The fuel pump relay should either be located in the fuse box under the hood, or the fuse box inside the vehicle, under the dash.
